I know in the public school where 2 of my daughters are they will not let them play together. They are in 1st and 2nd grade, and are on the playground at the same time! But the teachers always say to them they should spend more time with their friends. These two are particularly close and they always want to stay together. I want to encourage my children to be close to me and to each other.

Anyhow, I will look up the scripture you are referring to in Joshua and pray about it some more. I know God is leading us and I trust Him.maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08445627869939756060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8849301745834240334.post-22930229845601250792010-10-25T14:09:30.140-05:002010-10-25T14:09:30.140-05:00Hi Maureen, thanks for stopping by my blog again a...Hi Maureen, thanks for stopping by my blog again and commenting. About your church...keep praying for God to show you if you should leave and ask Him exactly WHERE to go. We did that and were led right to the place we should be. Also, you are doing a great thing by having your children take notes in church to discuss later. There is a book called, "Parenting in the Pew" and that suggestion is in there. I was reading in Joshua this weekend and found a verse that said all the people were together (women and children included) when the law was being read. That got me to thinking it was sort of like a family integrated church and it made me smile. Families should definitely not be made to split up for the majority of church. There are way too many other areas of society where children are apart from their families.Kathy - mom of manyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15582227836403348930noreply@blogger.com
